We need film junkies who live for the ultimate celluloid experience! Since the festival will be an annual event we are encouraging volunteers to take advantage of the openings and opportunities to be part of a year round and seasonal, support team. Sign up today. The 2nd Plymouth Independent Film Festival office needs support in the following areas of expertise: Marketing, sales, fundraising, grant writing, theatre attendants, technicians, and administration.

>>Marketing/Sales<<

>>>>Ad and sponsor sales (door to door) We need someone to lead local sales efforts of advertising and sponsorship opportunities. Someone professional, friendly, articulate and with a flair for the art of selling. Commitment of two to three hours a week and manage the process with two other volunteers doing the same.

>>>> Web producer - We need someone to draft all of the content that will be going up on the site this year, and manage TicketWeb. For sample, refer to last years under “Archive.” Strong writing skills, with a film background, a plus. Works with Webmaster, Accountant and Festival Director.

>>>>Audience Award – Questionnaire
Draft and manage the Audience questionnaire. Each room will require forms, pencils, and we will require collection of this information after every screening. Works with Festival Manager and Volunteer Coordinator.

>>>>Festival Volunteers
We need many volunteers to assist during the festival days from July 20 – July 23. Monitor screening rooms, work Green Room, assist workshop instructors, manage projection systems, work at ticket sales, among many other opportunities. Shifts range from 4-8 hours.

In exchange for services, volunteers receive special passes to film screenings, workshops, parties and special events. Please contact lisa@plyfilmfest.org for more information on how you can participate.
