Dance and Music

La
Conja will provide workshops on movement and dance with a specialty on Flamenco
dance and Arab and Indian dance techniques. Originally from Egypt, La Conja is a
renowned Flamenco dancer, based in NYC. Conja recently toured with Pulitzer

workshop including music, dance, literature (The letras contain Garcia Lorca
poetry), and history. La Conja gives a complete program of the History of
Flamenco and demonstrates through dance, cante and guitar the different
components of Flamenco. Involving the students and teachers helps the students
experience the poetic and creative meaning of the gypsy culture and music. This
program offers an exciting learning experience for everyone. La Conja has worked
